Chi Kung Courses

What is Chi Kung? Chi Kung (or Qigong as it is also spelt) is the art of deliberately managing your vital energy. Vital energy is the force that enables you and everyone else to be alive. It is easier to learn than Tai Chi and less strenuous than Yoga. Chi Kung usually combines simple external body movements with gentle breathing methods and is performed in a meditative state of mind. Generating Energy Flow

9am – 12pm and 3pm – 5pm, 16th July-SATURDAY

This is a fascinating and deeply rewarding course. It all begins here, the very essence of Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung. You’ll learn to generate an internal energy flow in your body. This is a fundamental skill of Chi Kung, and the rewards of practicing it are immeasurable. In just 6 hours you will attain the confidence and skills to continue practice back at home, or wherever you choose! And bask in the knowledge that you have taken control of your health and vitality.

Beginners should start here. Others often repeat this course because it is so enjoyable, and to deepen their skills.

Cosmic Breathing

9am – 12pm, 17th July-SUNDAY

Also called “Dan Tien Breathing,” this course often amazes people as they experience tremendous joy and peace with such a profound and seemingly simple exercise. When you practice Dan Tien Breathing, you are literally pulsating with the Cosmos, hence the name ‘Cosmic Breathing’.

You must first take, or have previously taken the “Generating Energy Flow” to attend this course.

Merging with the Cosmos

3pm – 6pm, 17th July-SUNDAY

This is the “WOW!” course. Why? Because it is hard to believe that by just flicking your fingers three times, you can generate a lot of internal force. This internal force helps you to restore health, enhance your energy levels, mental clarity, and experience cosmic awareness.

This is a powerful art!

You must first take, or have previously taken the “Generating Energy Flow” to attend this course.

The 18 Lohan Arts

3pm – 7pm 18-20th July (3 days)-MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY
In this course you will learn a legendary set of 18 Chi Kung exercises that were originally practiced at the Shaolin Temple . The exercises in Eighteen-Lohan Art are quite different from those in the famous “Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands”. While the Eighteen Lohan Hands focus on promoting good health, the exercises in Eighteen-Lohan Art focus on developing internal force. Developing Internal Force will lead to more energy and vitality, which can of course be applied directly to daily life.

You must first take, or have previously taken the “Generating Energy Flow” to attend this course.

It is the oldest of the 5 branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), practiced by millions of people daily worldwide and has a written record going back 5000 years. It requires zero athleticism or investment in equipment. If you can spare 10-15 minutes a day, you can practice this art. In case you were wondering Chi Kung and Qigong are different spellings of the same thing.

The forte of Chi Kung is two fold:

  1. It removes blockages to the harmonious flow of vital energy through the meridians (think of them as energy channels) of your body promoting total health (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual).
  2. Once energy blockages are removed, Chi Kung can then increase the flow of energy through the meridians promoting vitality and longevity.
